Thanks Carol. I am indifferent. Both the Blues and the Stars pose their own challenges.
But I'm happy not to be having to face the Avalanche or Golden Knights this early. If we do make it to the next round, I'd rather face one of them a little battered from a Playoff series, not fresh.

I think this team has reached its full potential for this season. Canucks made the playoffs to the surprise of many. Before covid it looked like they were going to miss so I guess we as fans got a little “lucky” to experience a playoff like series this season.

You never know. That's why they play the games. I think we're watching the ceiling slowly raise, which is a nice change no matter the circumstances.
I really like Markstrom's attitude. He hates to lose and he has no problem owning up to his mistakes. He is definitely a team leader and I look forward to 4-5 more years of him.
I think Nighthawk can pencil in OJ to the bottom pairing for next year. Glad to remove the label of only 4 first round players from that draft class to never play a NHL game.
I hope we do get to meet St L and Avs or VGK . You have to beat the best to the best.
Cliche but true.

Me too. He's our MVP for a reason. Personally, it was nice watching the team come together and outscore a bad performance by him. I really can't think of a time it's happened before. That was a pretty big step IMHO.

I agree with your post from above . These guys are just starting to learn their potential and as long as you have guys like Hughes and Petey every game is a learning experience. Look at game one and how shocked they were to see their first playoff like hockey. Next game they quickly adjusted.
The teams that stand out for me are Flyers and VGK . Everyone else , anything can happen.

Carol - the Blues were probably without Tarasenko when we played them, and he can be a huge catalyst for them. I think I’d rather play Dallas, they’re a one line team.
We were suppose to go today but my wife isn’t feeling good, stomach thing, last place you want to be is on the ocean when you’ve got stomach issues. - Pacificgem
No kidding. Hope she feels better soon.
I'm gonna go out closer to the tide switch...I'll try to catch one for ya.

Winning games when it like you might not and you got to just battling and staying in it is tough, was my favorite win cause I was like “uh oh” a few times and they just kept coming. They’ll need that battle!

I would say there are, and were, more people excited about the team than down on them this year. The extreme haters and fanboys are the loudest voices but I think a majority of regular fans are/were cautiously optomisitc to optomistic about the teams chances. End of the day, this team was built for the playoffs, not the regular season.
